Kevin C. Barrett
Kevin Barrett is President of Altegra Health. He has more than 20 years of experience in start-ups, deal making, and operations in the healthcare services and life sciences industries. Kevin joined Social Service Coordinators (SSC) in early 2009 to oversee the organization’s day-to-day operations.
Kevin brought a wealth of experience to Altegra Health. He has served as an executive-in-residence with Bain Capital Ventures and SV Life Sciences, two Boston-based venture capital firms; Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of PolyMedica Corporation, the nation’s largest provider of blood-glucose-testing supplies and related services to people with diabetes; Senior Vice President of BG Medicine, a biotechnology start-up company, where he was responsible for commercial operations; and Chief Operating Officer of the Synergy Informatics division of Quintiles Transnational, the largest provider of outsourced drug development, commercialization, and healthcare information services to the global pharmaceutical industry.
Kevin holds a BA in Psychology from Columbia University and a Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Chief Operating Officer
Dan Lieber is Chief Operating Officer for Altegra Health, responsible for the company’s operations and the assembly of resources and capabilities to meet current client demands to capitalize on growth opportunities.
Dan is a business leader with a track record of successfully driving change in health insurance and financial/business services companies. Prior to joining Altegra Health, Dan led operations and performance improvement efforts at Universal American, a Fortune 500 insurance company focused on the Medicare Advantage and Medicaid market. In his most recent role as Chief Quality Officer, he oversaw efforts to increase Star ratings, optimize revenue performance, redesign pharmacy operations, and improve member experience. Dan has also led strategic planning and business improvement initiatives in leadership roles at Welsh, Carson, Anderson, and Stowe, Capital Z, Bain & Company, and GE Capital Services. He was also Chief Operating Officer of Unison Site Management, a private-equity backed buyer of cell-site properties and leases.
Dan is a graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he received both his BSE and Masters in Business Administration.
Senior Vice President & General Manager, Decision Analytics
Jared Sokolsky is Chief Strategy Officer for Altegra Health and is responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives, operational improvement projects and integration, as well as supporting corporate development efforts.
Before joining Altegra Health in 2010, Jared worked as a Senior Associate specializing in healthcare services for Parthenon Capital Partners, where he was responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, managing due diligence processes, leading special projects with management teams, and prospecting business development opportunities. Prior to that, Jared worked at McColl Partners, an investment bank specializing in middle-market mergers and acquisitions and private financings. Jared holds a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Chief Information Officer
Bob Drelick is Chief Information Officer for Altegra Health and leads the company’s Information Technology (IT) team, executing a strategic growth strategy across the enterprise.
Before joining Altegra Health, Bob was a senior executive with Lovelace Health Plan/System where he served as CIO for the Health Plan and Regional CIO for the Lovelace Health System. Prior to that, Bob served as Vice President, Information Technology at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana. In addition to his in-depth health plan IT experience, Bob has also worked as Head of Technology for US Bio-services as AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group and has held a number of roles at leading financial service companies.
